The NonProfit HelpDesk partners with elected officials to provide 10-15 Workshops each year, focusing specifically on Discretionary Funding opportunities in New York City through our extensive relationships with Council Offices and Contracting Agencies.

This series, targeted to small and under-resourced nonprofits, will help you recruit board members, clearly outline the purpose and work of the board, and ensure that the board conducts its work effectively and delivers value for the organization.

These workshops will discuss topics on financial records, producing basic reports, developing a budget, and managing cash flow.
