A message from Andrea - "Hi! I'm Andrea, a Venezuelan queer activist and writer, living in Mexico City since 2022.
Like many Venezuelans around the world, my dog ​​and I are trapped in the midst of an intense migration crisis. Due to Mexican immigration policies—particularly strict for people from Central America and the Caribbean—I've spent the last three years without legal status in the country.

This has severely limited my life: I can't access formal employment or open bank accounts, I can't leave the city, and I live in constant fear of being detained or deported.
After many attempts, I'm finally in the process of regularizing my immigration status in Mexico. However, it's a long, complex, and expensive road that I can't undertake alone. I'm raising $3,000 usd to cover the costs of temporary residency and the necessary legal support during the process.
