Making Distance Learning Significant
Many teachers, new and seasoned, find the shift to online learning to be a challenge… especially in Kindergarten! However, both in-person and online learning have their challenges and opportunities!
In this Bootcamp, we will dive into the wealth of opportunities that online learning presents, and offer strategies to maintain what truly matters for your students, even from far away. We will discover strategies for significant learning that ensure students learn how to learn, care about their material, and make connections, among others.
Participants will be able to...
- shift their focus from the activity to the objective when designing learning online
- apply the Taxonomy of Significant Learning to their online lesson design
