What should I expect during the ceremony?

The ceremony begins in the evening with intention setting and consumption of the Calea preparation. You'll then transition to your comfortable camping setup on the beach. The main "journey" happens in your dreams. The following morning, we'll engage in guided dream journaling and a sharing circle.

Will I be camping? What amenities are available?

Yes, this experience includes an overnight stay at our private beachfront location. You'll be sleeping right on the beach under the breathtaking sky.  Compost toilets are available, but no showers.

What about mosquitoes?

While we always recommend bringing mosquito repellent for peace of mind, our beachfront location benefits from a constant ocean breeze, which typically keeps mosquitoes to a minimum.

What if I don't remember my dreams normally?

While results vary for each individual, the preparation guidelines and the plant's properties are designed to significantly increase your chances of remembering your dreams. The guided journaling session in the morning is crucial for capturing fleeting dream memories.

What kind of preparation is needed?

We recommend a light, clean diet for 24-48 hours prior, adequate rest, hydration, and refraining from alcohol/caffeine. Mentally, setting clear intentions for your dreams and engaging in grounding practices are beneficial.

Are there any specific dietary restrictions like with Ayahuasca?

While Calea doesn't require the strict MAOI diet necessary for Ayahuasca, a clean and light diet is still highly recommended to enhance comfort and the clarity of your experience. Please avoid heavy, processed foods, excessive sugar, stimulants, and alcohol.

This ceremony isn't recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, those with a history of severe mental health conditions (like psychosis or schizophrenia), or severe sleep disorders. It's also crucial to disclose all medications you're currently taking during your consultation.
