We are pleased to invite you to our first binational community dialogue: “Creative Models and Their Impact on Community Organizing: A Cross-Border Perspective for Youth and Children” led by three major speakers from both sides of the border: Rachel Lozano-Castro (San Diego Regional Policy & Innovation Center), Angela Serrano (Independent Social Consultant) and Jorge Francisco Sánchez (Cetys University).

Promotora de las Bellas Artes (PBA) who has worked binationally since 1992, contributes to the strengthening of children and youth's life skills, their creativity, socio-emotional and cognitive abilities through its choral program (COROS in Spanish). PBA currently advances the potential of more than 900 children and adolescents in 28 schools.

Is parking available?

Parking is limited due to the building's capacity. If parking is available, it’s on a first come, first serve basis at $20 per vehicle. Parking street: The cost of meter is typically $1.25/hour with a limit of 2 hours. We strongly recommend you to arrive via Trolley (Blue Line) or Uber/Lyft.

Promotora de las Bellas Artes is a binational 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Tijuana and San Diego. Since 1992 it contributes to the strengthening of children and youth's life skills, their creativity, socio-emotional and cognitive abilities through its choral program (COROS in Spanish). PBA currently advances the potential of more than 900 children and adolescents in 28 schools.

Our main program COROS (Choral Program) has been implemented in public elementary schools and orphanages located in priority attention areas in the city of Tijuana, Tecate and Rosarito. Our model of intervention offers:

  • Access to cultural rights and creative opportunities for children and adolescents.
  • A systemic approach that includes family, teachers and teenagers.
  • A social prevention perspective.
