Cuéntame Story Slam: "Busted!"

🇺🇸 : This month’s theme is “Busted.” Prepare a story about getting caught—or catching someone else. Maybe it was sneaking in after curfew, cheating on a test, or telling a lie that unraveled in front of everyone. Maybe you were the one who cracked the case. Maybe justice was finally served. Or maybe karma showed up and kicked in when you least expected it.

Tell us about a time you were caught red-handed. A time when your secret slipped out. A time when you exposed the truth. A time when the mask came off and there was no turning back.

This month’s theme is all about those moments of exposure—whether mortifying, hilarious, or strangely satisfying.

How it works:

1. Arrive at 6PM to put your name in the hat if you want to tell a story.
2. Names are drawn at random to decide who takes the stage.
3. Stories must be true, personal, and connected to the theme.
4. Each storyteller has about 5 minutes to share.
5. Stories are told without notes—raw, real, and from the heart.
6. After your story, you’ll be rewarded with a shot of mezcal for your courage!

🇲🇽 Este mes el tema es “Busted” (¡Atrapados!). Prepárate para contar una historia de cuando te cacharon… o cuando tú cachaste a alguien más. Tal vez fue llegar tarde después del toque de queda, copiar en un examen, o decir una mentira que se vino abajo frente a todos. Tal vez fuiste tú quien resolvió el misterio. Tal vez por fin se hizo justicia. O quizá fue el karma el que apareció cuando menos lo esperabas.

Cuéntanos de una vez que te agarraron con las manos en la masa. Una vez que tu secreto salió a la luz. Una vez que expusiste la verdad. Una vez que la máscara se cayó y ya no hubo vuelta atrás.

El tema de este mes trata de esos momentos de exposición—ya sean vergonzosos, chistosos o extrañamente liberadores.

Así funciona:

1. Llega antes de las 7:00 PM para anotar tu nombre en el sombrero si quieres contar una historia.
2. Los nombres se sacan al azar para decidir quién sube al escenario.
3. Las historias deben ser verdaderas, personales y conectadas al tema.
4. Cada narrador tiene 5 minutos para compartir.
5. Las historias se cuentan sin notas—crudas, reales y desde el corazón.
6. Después de tu historia, ¡te ganarás un shot de mezcal por tu valentía!
