Guitar Season 2020-2021 promotes a rich, varied and quality cultural offer for the community that lives and makes the Historic Center of Mazatlan its own, by presenting the most outstanding guitarists from the national and international scene. The artistic talent of the Guitar Season is made up mostly of young players with extraordinary sensitivity and consummate artistic talent.

This year you will be able to enjoy all the concerts of the Season through GuitarraMazatlan TV, the streaming service fromm Sociedad de la Guitarra Mazatlán, A.C. that will enable anyone with internet access to experience the guitar at home.

If you wish, you can join us at Socixl.colab (Constitución 207, Centro, Mazatlan) for live concerts following all the safe distance guidelines and our Security Protocol.

For this year, talented and virtuous guitarists will present wonderful music such as Omán Kaminsky, Marina Tomei, Alberto Quintanilla, Mariana Argueta, Mariana Gómez and proudly from Mazatlan Daniel Torres, who without hesitation proposed us programs of high artistic quality that will allow the audience to enjoy significant sound monuments ranging from Scarlatti, Bach or Weiss to contemporary composers such as Brouwer, Piazzolla, Dyens or Iannarelli. In addition, you will have the pleasure of listening to works played by the composer himself (in the case of Daniel Torres) or by the daughter of the composer Jaime Gómez (Mariana), these performances will undoubtedly be first-hand versions that have expanded the repertoire of the instrument in recent years.
