HARA RETREAT

May 2nd - 5th, 2024 at Nômade Tulum

Hara is the Japanese word for "belly." In Japanese culture, Hara doesn't just refer to the physical belly but also signifies gut instinct and is associated with the enteric nerve plexus located in the lower abdomen.

We have all experienced emotions circulating through our belly, sometimes positive and at other times, more challenging sensations arise. These sensations can impact our internal organs through what is understood in basic terms as the psycho- somatic effects on the body. Join us to explore the wisdom of Japanese Hara diagnosis, an ancient practice of connecting physically through emotion.
