Hedwig And The Angry Inch is a critically acclaimed and multiple Tony Award-winning

Broadway rock theater hit, which tells the story of the "internationally ignored"; genderqueer

punk-rock singer, Hedwig– a German immigrant who is the victim of a botched sex-change

operation.

The story describes her search for stardom and love and is told by Hedwig directly to the

audience through monologue. The show is in the form of a rock concert and features 12 hard-

rocking songs with a live band.

Hedwig And The Angry Inch is a musically genius wild ride… funny, touching, and ultimately

inspiring to anyone who has felt life gave them an inch when they deserved a mile.

Jordon Carnegie (Hedwig) has been a performer for over 20 years. He received a BroadwayWorld nomination for Best Actor in a Musical in a 2015 regional production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Jordon is joined by vocal powerhouse Yoalli Guerrero as Yitzak, his co-star and backing

vocalist.

The show’s run time is 90 minutes - with no intermission.

(Book by John Cameron Mitchell - Music by Stephen Trask)

“The best rock musical ever.” - Rolling Stone

“It is utterly fascinating, with a far more punk aesthetic than one would associate with a musical. A truly inventive and amazing creation worth hearing.”

“… this tale of a transexual would-be rock star is a bizarrely visionary masterpiece. And the songs are all fantastic. The huge cult surrounding this film and stage show is completely justified.”

“I was aware of its status as a queer cult film, but I'm fatally cynical of musicals - something trying to get past - so I'd put off watching this for ages. After finally watching it, I'm very glad I

did.”

“I'm not typically one for musicals but I sing along with every damn song when it comes to Hedwig. It's moving, humorous, and beautifully acted/written. John Cameron Mitchell [writer] is brilliant.
