​Peia Luzzi - is an American-born song collector, writer, and multi-instrumentalist based in the Appalachian Mountains. She draws inspiration from her ancestral roots in Celtic and Old World European folk music, skillfully interpreting 17th-century Gaelic laments, Scottish waulking songs, and Bulgarian mountain calls. Over the past 14 years, Peia has traveled extensively to reconnect with her cultural heritage, uncovering and revitalizing age-old melodies while honoring their original languages and stories.
