Can I come on my own?

Yes! We welcome and encourage you to come on your own to the retreat. We create a welcoming environment and you will feel very at home. We have no doubt that the other retreat guests will quickly feel like your soul family.

How does the shared accomodation work?

Accepted Answer

You can choose to share a room with a friend or we will match you up with another solo retreat guest. This is an option on all our retreats and it works really well. The garden villa with a king bed is ideal for a couple.

How big is the retreat?

This retreat will include up to 16 guests and 2 hosts.

How do I get to the retreat?

Alaya Tulum is located on the beach in the hotel zone of Tulum. There are many ways to reach Alaya.

Tulum Airport is located about 50 mins from Alaya. Once you depart the airport you can take a private taxi directly to Alaya.

Cancun airport is approx 2hrs from Alaya. You can get a private transfer

What flights should I book?

Check in at Alaya is 3pm and check out is 11am.

We recommend booking flights that align with these times or staying in Tulum a day or more either side of the retreat.

What is the weather like?

Beautiful! February is prime time to visit Tulum. The ocean is clean and clear, there is lots of sun, blue skies and tropical vibes.

I'm nervous, should I still come?

Accepted Answer

Yes! It’s totally normal to feel nervous. We understand that coming on a retreat like this can feel a little scary and intimidating. But, if you are feeling this we encourage you to lean into it, step out of your comfort zone and trust the uncertainty.

Do you cater to dietary requirements?

Alaya can accommodate to any dietary requirements you might have.
Please note that the menu for the week will include meat, seafood, vegetarian and vegan options. We know you will love it and it will leave you feeling nourished and inspired.

Is there free time?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Outside of the retreat program there will be free time to each day to rest, connect, have a spa treatment or explore the local area.
