YAB YUM AN ANCIENT & REVERED PRACTICE - Google the word “tantra” under images, and it won’t take you too long to find an image of a God and Goddess sat in a special posture called “Yab-Yum”.

But what is “Yab-Yum” and what’s it all about?

In Tantra, the Earth is the divine feminine force (mother earth) and the Heavens are the divine masculine force (father sky). Yab-Yum is the symbol of divine union. It is the posture in which man and women are united between Heaven and Earth: a classic meditation posture. In many love-making postures one of the couple are underneath the other, but in Yab-Yum, both are equally and powerfully upright.

SHARING : This is a time for Q & A, for expressing your experiences making them even more real, and for hearing from others their experiences deepening and expanding the experience of all.

"We really want to participate, but can’t make it live. Will it be recorded?

Because of the confidential nature of the question & answers, the sharing by the participants we have discontinued the recording to honor them and in the interest of confidentiality. Should you not be able to attend, you may reschedule for any other Saturday evening with just a message to me with its date.

"This sounds great, but my partner and I are pretty private. Is it possible to participate without being on video?"

Absolutely! There is no need to turn on your video at all if you prefer to maintain complete privacy.

"We are really missing being in community!!! Will there be any time to connect with other couples?"

Yes! There is optional community connection time after the Guided Ritual. It has been really sweet to hang out and catch up with each other from the intimacy of our private spaces.

"How sexual will the Ritual be?"

There is no explicit sexuality during the Ritual itself, but many participants discover that it leads to much more connected, nourishing love-making in the hours and weeks that follow.

"Is this a queer-friendly space?"

Absolutely! Tantra is not just for heterosexuals or gender normative folks. We welcome all genders, sexual orientations and lifestyles.
