Soulsville Foundation
The Soulsville Foundation is located on a vibrant neighborhood campus at the original site of Stax Records in the Memphis community known as Soulsville, USA. Here at the Global Capital of Soul, the legacy of Stax artists such as Otis Redding, Isaac Hayes, Sam & Dave, and Booker T. & the M.G.’s amplifies the ambitions of a new generation of young people.
Our campus includes three distinct but related entities, each one working to further the dreams and aspirations of Memphis youth. The Stax Museum of American Soul Music, Stax Music Academy and the Soulsville Charter School.
