Creative Dementia Arts Network
Creative Dementia Arts Network is a charity, based in Bristol but with a national reach. Our vision is of a society in which people with dementia can participate fully in creative arts and culture, wherever they live.
We do this by providing specialist information, training, professional development and support for creative arts, health and wellbeing practitioners, dance, music and arts therapists, staff in arts organisations and arts venues, as well as non-arts trained staff working n health and social care, academia and government agencies.
Since 2012, Creative Dementia Arts Network (CDAN) has enabled over 5000 arts practitioners, health and social care professionals, care staff and researchers to develop skills and knowledge in using arts and culture to engage with over 8000 people with dementia through its projects, conferences, and FLOURISH, our flagship training programme all of which have enriched the lives of individuals, families and communities.
