Empowered Community Development Corporation, Inc. (Empowered CDC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which operates as a Black-led, Women-led member-based collective of community residents and elders serving the working class communities of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We rose out of a necessity to organize low-income, hardworking families to collaborate for community improvement and growth, provide and share food and resources, provide public health and professional development support, and cultivate economic opportunities for our community.
