The Association for Families of Independent Schools™ (AFIS™) – the first organisation to bring together parents, relatives, teachers & staff and alumni of independent schools throughout the U.K. in one, cohesive, online community.

OUR GOALS

– Offer our members (families and schools) a central platform through which to engage with other supporters of independent education, sharing ideas and opinions and contributing to the national education conversation

– Fund and commission robust research, including surveys about our members’ demographic profiles and personal views, to contribute to a more balanced national debate

– Generate funds for schools to offer more means-tested fee assistance to more young people

– Help to safeguard the future of independent education
