Brahma Kumaris Australia is part of a global network of organisations with over 8500 centres in over 130 countries with its international headquarters in Mount Abu, India. 

Established in 1937, the organisation was inspired by a vision of a world in which all individuals have developed their potential living in harmony with others and the environment. We work to promote peace at all levels: through personal development, local and national initiatives and international projects. We are independent of any political or religious affiliation and is run worldwide by volunteers.

A simple definition of 'spirituality' is knowing how to live with meaning and purpose.

Across Australia the Brahma Kumaris work with many areas of the community including: multi-faith dialogue, youth programs, healthcare, women’s and men’s groups, values education, indigenous and seniors’ programs.
