Cannock Mill is a vibrant cohousing community close to Colchester city centre. Each household has a self-contained, private home, and the community manages and shares the use of its grounds and communal spaces – most importantly our ‘common house’ the beautiful listed Cannock Mill. Living ecologically is key to the vision of our community. Our homes are certified to the internationally recognised Passivhaus Standard – including triple glazing, thick insulation and a mechanical ventilation system with high levels of heat recovery, all leading to exceptionally low energy bills.
