Christian Tavera

PMI ATP Disciplined Agile® Instructor , University Professor and Project Management consultant. Christian is an executive professional with more than 15 years of experience, working actively as both an executive IT consultant and an Educator in public and private universities. Throughout his professional career he has worked mainly in the Project Management and PMO field, implementing projects for different industries -i.e. telecom, insurances, funds- and different sizes and impact levels, from short-term initiatives to large, complex and strategic regional efforts, following PMP and Agile best practices, tailoring when needed and thus generating positive, valuable outcomes.

Academically, Christian is a BSc in Systems Engineer from ITESM Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a PMP, ATP Disciplined Agile Instructor, Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Wicked Problem Solving Practitioner, PMI's Agile Hybrid Project Pro, PSM, PSK, ITIL, Management 3.0 and PMO-CP® certified professional, among others. He is a MBA-GBS graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where based on his outstanding performance, he was awarded with a member invitation from the ‘Phi Kappa Phi’ Honor Society and a member invitation from the ‘Beta Gamma Sigma’ Honor Society, two of the most selective Honor Societies in the US, becoming member of both since 2013. He is also a MBA graduated from EGADE Business School, where he was awarded with the Highest GPA recognition granted by the institution, the Honorable Mention in Academic Excellence.
