Founded in 2006, DESIFEST is Canada’s leading celebration of South Asian music and culture — a world-class, multi-disciplinary festival built by the community, for the community.

What began as a music festival has evolved into a powerful non-profit platform that champions homegrown Canadian artists, builds cultural confidence, and empowers the next generation of creators and community leaders.

Year-round, our youth-driven programs support artistic and professional development through open mics, mentoring, content creation, and career-building opportunities across disciplines.
