Dr. Bobette Brown, Founder, The Lady Chapter
Established in 2019, The Lady Chapter, Inc. (TLC) is a nonprofit, bible-based leadership and personal development organization that equips, empowers, and creates momentum for Christian female leaders ages 24-37 to positively change the world. TLC offers a no-charge leadership development framework, comprised of curriculum-based leadership instruction and training. Topics include leadership and followership, emotional intelligence, character formation, financial integrity, and ethical conduct. TLC aims to strengthen and support the uniqueness and authenticity of next-generation female leaders.
Dr. Bobette Brown, affectionately called “Lady B," is the founder and executive director of The Lady Chapter, Inc. Additionally, she is the C.E.O. of transFORmU Coaching & Consulting™️, an international speaker, best-selling author, International Coaching Federation certified coach, and a John Maxwell Leadership executive team member. She is a former Army 82nd Airborne Paratrooper, and the six areas that encompass her passion are represented by the acronym L.E.A.P.E.R.: Leadership, Empowerment, Authenticity, Purpose, Equipping, and Relationships. She specializes in teaching individuals how to optimize efficiencies, leverage experiences, and live authentically to fulfill their God-given purpose.
As a young adult woman, Bobette yearned for Christ-centered mentorship as she endured many battles, including feelings of inadequacy, depression, and low self-esteem. However, she learned the Lord had different plans. Through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, familial support, and therapy, Bobette released the dark areas from her life experiences and discovered her place of purpose in advancing the Lord's Kingdom. For 25+ years, Bobette has trained, mentored, coached, and empowered countless women to pursue their God-given purpose and thrive as authentic and uniquely created individuals and leaders. Additionally, for many years she (and her husband, Dr. T. Cedric Brown) opened her home as a haven and gathering place for young adult women as they transitioned, evolved, and transformed in their life journeys.
Bobette is a doctor of Strategic Leadership (Regent University). She received an M.A. in Theological Studies from the Wesley Theological Seminary and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College (now University of Maryland Global Campus).
