Equine Assisted Services Partnership
The Equine Assisted Services Partnership CIC (EASP) is an all-inclusive standards based, membership led organisation which represents the voice of the EAS sector regardless of modality. Our membership includes all physical, psychological and learning equine assisted services regardless of whether each profession is professionally regulated or accredited or not.
We include practitioners, training organisations and associate members. The Partnership hosts the Human Equine Interaction Register (HEIR) which works to a set of 5 standards including equine welfare in EAS, professionalism (qualifications and CPD) and operational standards eg Insurance, Safeguarding, benefits and outcomes.
By meeting the standards of HEIR, applicants become members of EASP and have voting rights in how the Partnership operates, appointing Board members and have a voice in influencing commissioners, funders and decision makers across the sector.
We aim to support emerging and new organisations and individuals as well as larger established service providers and we believe that knowledge sharing can only improve the overall profile and benefits of the sector.
As a not-for-profit CIC, we work collaboratively and independently across the sector. The funds from membership fees are re-invested in the EASP offer and in maintaining HEIR. We believe that the power of working in partnership is the key to validating EAS services and demonstrating that it is a viable offer to commissioners, funders and participants.
