Grow Early Autism Supports
Grow Early Autism Supports is a mobile service working with children, families and educators across Melbourne. We provide individualised, routines- and play-based therapy at home, kinder, and school, helping children learn and build confidence, communication, and independence. We work with children with support needs such as neurodivergence including Autism, their families, educators, and other therapists.
Kristy Capes has over 25 years’ experience working with Autistic children and their families as an ESDM therapist, key worker and teacher. Kristy was trained by Dr. Sally Rogers as an ESDM therapist, trainer and parent-coach as part of the original La Trobe University Autism Specific Early Learning and Care Centre (ASELCC) team. Kristy has trained allied health therapists and early childhood educators nationally and internationally and is a published author on the Group-ESDM. Kristy has a strong commitment to supporting children with complex support needs to thrive. Kristy is committed to supporting Autistic children to learn in ways that respect their individual needs and promotes excellent wellbeing and quality of life.
Carolyne Jones is a highly experienced psychologist, key worker, Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) therapist and ESDM trainer. Carolyne has extensive experience supporting young children on the spectrum in early education settings, particularly children with complex support needs and positive behaviour support. She worked as the Clinical Manager of the La Trobe University Autism Specific Early Learning and Care Centre 2019 to 2024. Carolyne has trained allied health professionals and early educators domestically and internationally, and is a published author on Group-ESDM. Carolyne is committed to optimal outcomes and empowerment for each child, their family and education team.
