香港聖詠節 Hong Kong Hymnos Festival Society
The Hong Kong Hymnos Festival Society (Festival) is a Registered Society and a non-profit organization established in April 2020. It is a lay association of Catholics who gather and work towards the Festival’s purpose, that is, to spread God’s words and share God’s messages through the singing of hymns in Hong Kong or elsewhere.
The Festival is a trail blazer as it is the first of its kind in Hong Kong. The Festival aims to present a range of hymn music written over time in different formats of choral singing. The presentation of new works is also one of the highlights in encouraging and supporting local composers. Together with educational talks and concerts, the Festival aims to widen the horizon of our audience’s appreciation of hymn music.
The Festival will run on a self-finance basis. Its sole income relies on sponsorship, donations and ticketed income events.
香港聖詠節(聖詠節)為一所註冊非弁利機構，由一羣天主教信徒於2020年4月成立，目的是推廣該音樂節，期盼透過聖樂，宣揚天主大愛的喜悅。
聖詠節稱得上是一項前所未有的嶄新項目，將為大眾呈現不同年代及風格的聖樂作品，並且會邀請本地音樂家表演原創作品，以鼓勵及推廣本地創作。除了音樂會，聖詠節亦會透過講座及硏討會，擴闊觀眾對聖樂的欣賞水平。
香港聖詠節將會自負盈虧，所有支出有賴各方贊助、捐款及門票收入。
