Katie's passion for music has spanned well over 18 years! She made her concerto debut as a professional classical violinist at the age of 13, and she started teaching students at the age of 15. Katie's true passion is helping music students realize their true music potential.

Katie Glumac only uses proven methods of learning that are guaranteed to help students improve their playing skills. She even wrote a music book How To Play The Violin to help students improve their playing skills quickly and effectively. Also, for parents, Katie created a book to help guide parents through the music education process A Simple Guide to Music Education. She has worked with countless students helping them improve their playing skills, get music scholarships into premier schools, and have fun learning to play. In addition to helping other students play well, she also helps coach teachers on how to do the same thing. She has been invited as a guest speaker at major music education conferences such as the Texas Music Educators Association.

In addition to teaching she maintains a professional playing career as well. She has played in professional symphonies in Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Scotland acting as the Concert Master or Principal Second in many cases.
