Liverpool Bach Collective

Liverpool Bach Collective was formed in 2013, and it aims to perform a cantata by J S Bach in a church in the Liverpool area each month on a Sunday afternoon, as part of an act of worship. As far as possible, the cantatas are chosen specifically to match the readings of the day. By the end of the current season, 77 cantata performances will have been given in 37 different churches, from Hightown to Rainhill and Ince Blundell to Birkenhead.
