NHS Health Visiting service in Reading

Health Visitors provide a Community & Home Visiting service with up-to date advice and support on many areas of health & wellbeing for you and your baby.

Your Health Visitor can provide you with a wide variety of information before your baby is born, including safer sleeping and immunisations as well as supporting you in your choice of infant feeding, both breastfeeding and formula.

You will have the opportunity to meet the Health Visiting Team:

Antenatally from 32 - 36 weeks

New Birth visit at home

6 - 8 week postnatal check

3-month contact

6-month contact

9 - 12 month development check

2 year development check
