
Ronin Dining
Hi, I'm Jhenn! I am a certified traditional Japanese Washoku chef and have been selected as a top Japanese chef in Europe by the Japanese government (MAFF). I started Ronin Dining (aka The Vegan Ronin)as a chef cooking traditional Japanese food for supper clubs, pop up events, catering and classes since 2011 in London and now in Surrey. I love sharing Japanese food you can't find in restaurants while meeting new people at the supper clubs! I became a professional chef after living in rural Japan for a few years and learning everyday food from the elders (the true cooks) and honed my craft working in restaurants.
I've been a head chef, junior sous, chef de partie, recipe developer, hospitality consultant, raw food kitchen manager, cake baker, chocolatier, in everything from AA fine dining to junk food bars. I love doing these private events. I also teach people how to cook with Joyfull Greens CIC <3
