Six Stage Inclusive Framework

Dr. Shungu H. M’gadzah
Psychologist | Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Consultant | Executive Coach | Author of the Six Stages Framework

I am a Chartered Educational Psychologist, coach, and senior consultant with over 30 years of experience, working with individuals and organisations across corporate, public, and educational sectors. I specialise in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), offering training, assessments, and coaching that challenge mindsets and drive meaningful, lasting change.

I hold a Professional Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology, with a research focus on Emotional Intelligence—a foundation that continues to inform my person-centred, values-driven approach to leadership and inclusion.

As the founder of Inclusion Psychologists Ltd and creator of the Six Stages Framework, I’ve developed a powerful tool for supporting individuals and organisations in understanding and addressing racism, bias, and exclusion. The Framework, now adopted by leaders across sectors, underpins a range of bespoke training programmes, coaching packages, and DEI audits. My book “The Six Stages Framework: Understanding and Dealing with Racism in the Workplace” is used widely including in schools and universities.

I provide transformative training, executive coaching, and DEI consultancy. The Six Stages Framework is a powerful model that helps individuals and organisations understand and actively address racism and bias. It offers both challenge and support in fostering genuine inclusion.

Inclusion Psychologists Ltd offers:

* Strategic DEI consultancy and executive coaching for leadership and boards

* Diversity assessments and baseline tools for measuring inclusive culture

* Psychological assessments, counselling, and neurodiversity services

* Neurodiversity services: counselling, coaching, and assessments

My work is grounded in the belief that conversations on race and empathy-building are critical for achieving racial justice. The Six Stages Framework offers both challenge and support—creating a safe space for individuals and teams to reflect, grow, and lead with authenticity.
