Sound Healing York
Sound Healing York creates immersive, trauma-aware sound and rest experiences designed to help people slow down, regulate the nervous system and reconnect with themselves in a world that rarely lets us pause.
Founded by a registered Emergency Department nurse, this work blends guided hypnosis, Yoga Nidra, meditation and intuitive sound to create deeply calming experiences that feel grounding, safe and genuinely restorative. Every session is carefully curated to support deep rest without overwhelm, with a strong focus on nervous system safety and creating spaces where people can simply soften for a while.
I offer public sound journeys, private 1-2-1 sessions, couples and small group experiences, corporate wellbeing events, retreats, hen gatherings and bespoke collaborations across Yorkshire.
My sessions are heavily inspired by nature and the feeling of being supported by the earth. I personally write all hypnosis journeys and Yoga Nidra scripts, weaving together voice, sound and imagery to create immersive experiences that help quiet busy minds and encourage deep physical and emotional relaxation.
No two sessions are ever the same. Using a carefully selected blend of crystal bowls, grounding percussion, ocean and rain instruments, chimes and ambient sound, each journey is intuitively guided to create a gentle, atmospheric experience rather than a performance.
Working within Emergency Medicine has deeply shaped the way I hold space. My approach is calm, compassionate and trauma-aware, with particular care taken to avoid overly harsh or jarring sensory experiences. The aim is never to overwhelm, but to help people feel held, regulated and able to fully rest.
Above all, authenticity sits at the centre of everything I create. These sessions are not about perfection or escapism — they are about creating real moments of peace, connection and nervous system restoration for people who need it most.
