The Sudan Studies Conference Team

In 2016 Dr. Samantha Tipper established the Durham University Sudan & Egyptology Study Group (DUSESG) based in the Archaeology Department and held the first DUSESG Conference in 2017. Sofia Kakembo has been part of the core organising committee since then.

The Sudan Studies Summer Series Conference is the 8th iteration of the Sudan Studies Research Conference.
