The Whisky Store began in 2005 as a humble retail kiosk at Tanglin Mall. At the time, Singapore had no dedicated whisky bar — but driven by a passion for fine whisky, our founders opened the nation’s first whisky concept bar.
Since then, The Whisky Store has grown far beyond its kiosk beginnings, sharing the spirit of whisky with an ever-wider community. Among its many ventures is Whisky Journey, first launched during Covid-19 as Singapore’s inaugural island-wide bar and restaurant whisky trail. Captivating enthusiasts for 10 remarkable days in both 2020 and 2021, it became a highlight for whisky lovers across the island. In 2022, it evolved into Singapore’s biggest and most dynamic whisky-dedicated exhibition at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Past exhibitions showcased over 30 esteemed exhibitors from across the globe and an impressive selection of over 300 distinct whiskies and expressions for participants to savour.
