Founded in 2003, Women's Audio Mission is an award-winning nonprofit dedicated to closing the gender gap in music production, the recording arts, and technology. In a field where women and gender-expansive individuals are chronically under-represented (less than 5%), WAM is changing the face of sound through providing training, mentoring, recording studio access, and learning and job placement for more than 20,000 girls, women, and gender-expansive people.
