The Department of Communities’ Working with Children (WWC) Screening Unit is responsible for the compulsory screening strategy, known as the WWC Check, for all people engaging in child-related work across Western Australia and the Christmas and Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

We run a series of free online webinars and in-person workshops across the year, designed to help organisations and individuals understand their obligations regarding the WWC Check and to administer them in their organisation.
