Carol Herd-Rodriguez is a New York artist who uses landscape as a language to convey the emotional and visceral experience of being in nature. Her paintings are shaped by two places that continue to shape her life and work: the Hudson Valley, where she grew up, and Mexico, where she first traveled at the age of five.
She's been an avid papermaker for over 2 decades, and teaches the process to students of all levels in her studio in New York.
