Is there a central hotel venue for the event?

Accepted Answer

No. The event is held in public spaces in the compact area of Cozumel Centro. Participants book their own accommodations in Hotel’s or BnB’s.

Is it necessary to rent a car

Accepted Answer

No. Rueda Vacation is designed to be a relaxed car free vacation.

Question 3

Is the Rueda Snorkel Tour to “El Cielo” included in the dance program price?

Accepted Answer

No. This highlight tour has a separate add on ticket because, believe it or not, some people don’t like dancing in crystal clear turquoise water. Go figure!

What about health risks?

COVID is largely under control in Mexico and almost all our dancing will be in open air venues. Wash you hands frequently!

Question 5

Is Cozumel safe?

Accepted Answer

Relatively speaking, Cozumel is much more mellow than its larger neighbors Playa del Carmen or Cancun. That being said, just be aware and don’t go out alone at night. Cozumel is well policed and well lighted. Petty theft is the primary crime issue. Don’t leave your stuff unsecured.
