What is Youth Mental Health First Aid? YMHFA teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among youth ages 6-18 and help get them connected to appropriate treatments and supports.
There is a 2-hour, self-paced pre-work that accompanies this course.
The "ZOOM LINK" will be sent the evening before the Instructor Lead Session.
* YOU MUST HAVE AUDIO AND VIDEO CAPABILITIES TO ATTEND.
Once the Instructor Lead Session and the Pre & Post work is completed, you will receive a 3-year certification.
* This training is proudly being offered through the partnership of THE CORE FOUR PARTNERSHIP AND HILL COUNTRY MHDDC.
